Left Bank Art Supplies

Left Bank Art Supplies is the only dedicated art supplies store in the Wanganui region.
It stocks major brands of paint, brushes, canvases, paper, pencils, charcoal, in fact everything you need to make art.
LeftBank Art Supplies also provides advice. Frances Sim-Higgins and her able assisant Judi Roberts are working artists and are happy to help and advise on the products in store and on your next project.
Along with art supplies the shop also sells small paintings, prints and cards not seen anywhere else.

Wanganui Potters Society

Club day is Wednesday 9.30am-2pm and 6.30pm-8.30pm
Annual Subscription $45 single $70 double.
Workshops and social events happen throughout the year. Beginner classes are available. Friendly group. New members are always welcome.

SeniorNet Wanganui

SeniorNet (Wanganui) Inc. began in 1998 to actively support and motivate people aged 50 + to use and enjoy technology in their everyday lives.

We offer a series of courses, workshops and special interest groups where members are encouraged to develop their confidence and competence in current and emerging technologies.

Regular e-newsletters advise members of all events.
Annual subscription $35 per person or $50 per couple.
Courses fees are modest.

The Learning Centre is upstairs at the rear of the Community Arts Centre.
Access is from Moutoa Quay.

Whanganui Creative Space

Whanganui Creative Space is a not for profit trust that aims to provide an arts and crafts space accessible to all people, especially for people who are disadvantaged by physical, attitudinal and financial barriers. It is a shared workspace where people can bring their own materials or use those provided. Specific workshops are run periodically which need to be pre-booked.
